Office Policies
Sterilization Policy:
Our office meets or exceeds OSHA
regulations regarding sterilization. In addition,
our sterilizer is regularly tested for efficiency
by the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry's
Department of Microbiology. Our water lines also
have anti-retraction valves to prevent back flow
of fluids. Bottled (distilled) water is also used
in patient treatment.
Appointment Policy:
Appointments are scheduled with
the front desk during normal office hours. New
patients are scheduled for an oral health evaluation.
The results of an examination, health history,
and x-rays will determine whether or not a new
patient will have their teeth "cleaned"
that day.
We reserve the right to charge fees
for broken appointments or dismiss the patient
from the practice for failure to keep appointments.
Financial Policy :
Non- insurance patients - Payment
is due at the time of service and may be paid
by any of the listed payment options.
Insurance Patients - We understand
the value of insurance benefits and will assist
you in obtaining your maximum benefit. We will
gladly process your insurance claim and estimate
the portion of your bill that is not covered by
insurance. The co payment is due at the time of
service and may be paid by any of the listed payment
options, below. Our estimates are based on the
information furnished to us regarding the benefits
of the insurance plan your company has chosen.
We are not party to your insurance contract and
cannot guarantee what your insurance company will
pay. Any balance not paid by the insurance company
within sixty days will become the patients responsibility.
Payment Options:
Prepayment - A five percent discount
applies to any services that are prepaid-we will
then provide assistance in helping you obtain
reimbursement from your insurance company.
Initial Payment - With all payment
options, the patient co pay is required at the
start of any major treatment ( crowns, bridges,
partials, dentures,etc.). The balance is due on
or before the day of completion or delivery.
Payments Plans: Cash - including
money orders and personal checks .Credit Cards
-Mastercard and Visa which can be used online
and Enhance Patient Finance - a separate line
of credit to cover your entire families dental
needs.
