Front Office Staff
Denise joined our practice in 1998. She grew up in
the Hudson/Addison area and is married to Ed. They have two children
,Nathan and Jessica. Denise is an active member of Rollin Baptist
church and enjoys gardening, sewing, and crafts.
Mary joined our practice in 2002. She has lived in
Hudson the last 23 years with her husband Ron and their three sons.
Mary has been actively involved in boy Scouts and Cub scouts the
last fifteen years.
Hygiene Staff
Esther is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
She joined our staff in 1987 and has enjoyed watching the children
grow, sharing time and working with all of her patients.Esther married
Roy in 1978 and they have a son andrew who is pursuing a career
in agicultural desiel mechanics.
Tina joined our practice in 1993 and is married with
three children. She grew up in the Adrian area and graduated from
Owens Technical College with an Applied Science Degree. Tina enjoys
photography.
After working part time in our office for 2 years, Lisa joined our staff full time in November of 2005. Lisa is a graduate of Owens Technical College and has practiced dental hygiene for over ten years. Lisa enjoys scrapbooking and golf. She is a member of Medina Federated Church. Lisa is married and has an "adorable" dog- 'Tucker'.
Assistant
Sharon is a native of Hudson and graduated from Hudson
High School She worked for GTE for fifteen years before changing
careers and joining our staff in 1992. Sharon has a daughter, Tracie,
and enjoys sewing , crafts, and reading.
Dentist
Dr. Schalter is a 1982 graduate of the University
of Detroit School of Dentistry. After dental school Dr. Schalter
taught at the dental school and Owens Technical College. He started
his practice in Hudson, Michigan in 1983.
Dr. Schalter is married to his wife Patty and they
have three daughters. Dr. Schalter enjoys outdoor sports, going
on foreign mission trips, and designing websites like this one.
Dr. Schalter is a member of the
American Dental Association
Michigan Dental Association
Jackson District Dental Society
and the
Academy of Laser Dentistry .
He has achieved Standard Proficiency in Diode , ND:YAG, and ER,CR:YSGG lasers thru
the Academy of Laser Dentistry and/or the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr. Schalter was also only one of five dentists worldwide to successfully complete Advanced Proficiency Laser Certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry in 2005.
